Filter

Filter items define define a subset of all patterns in the pattern buffer. The filter item can be used as parameter to different commands operating on buffered pattern observations to reduce the pattern set they operate on.

Formats

String	A string matching a predefined view name
Object/Filter	An object defining the filter
