Network Configuration

A correctly configured network is the main prerequisite for NxView or the NxLib to be able to find and use your connected camera.

In case your camera can not be found, you should use our provided Network Wizard to configure your network properly. After running the wizard your camera should be found and listed in NxView.

Some of our camera series might require specific IP configurations, please have a look at the topic Operation of Specific Camera Series and check whether your camera has a dedicated page with information on the IP configuration.

A listed camera can always be given a manual IP configuration via the IP Config... button in NxView. Simply select your camera and click the button.

If your camera should ever be reported as having an Invalid IP Address (either by NxView or the NxLib), for example because two devices use the same IP address, you can simply use the Network Wizard to fix the problem or try to do it manually as described above.
