Aperture

Specifies the default Aperture of the virtual camera in terms of f-number. The aperture influences exposure duration and depth of field.

Format

Number

The aperture given as f-number.

Default

• If reading from JSON file: The aperture given in the file, if any.

• If instead given the Lens parameter: The smallest f-number of the given lens.

• 0 otherwise.

Note

Depth of field requires both Aperture and FocusDistance to be nonzero.
